I designed and coded the official website for “Wata no Machi, Outou Seyo(わたのまち、応答セヨ),” an inspiring documentary set in Gamagori, Aichi, once Japan’s leading textile town. The film follows the passionate efforts of local artisans and young innovators as they strive to revive the centuries-old tradition of Mikawa cotton weaving. Directed by Gen Iwama and produced by Toshio Tsuchiya, the documentary traces the community’s journey from uncertainty and decline to hope and renewal, culminating in a bold leap onto the world stage in London. Narrated by Yukino Kishii, “Wata no Machi, Outou Seyo” is more than an industrial film—it is a moving story of tradition, resilience, and the power of collective spirit.
